Well…here’s a music collaboration that we definitely weren’t expecting. Cher has confirmed that she has teamed up with Lady Gaga for a new song. Yes, seriously.
The Irish Independent reports that the 66 year old singer is planning her musical comeback and has revealed on Twitter that she’s been in the studio working on a new album.
Cher’s new album is being produced by the one and only Timbaland (Justin Timberlake’s BFF) and, according to reports, it is going to be released just before Christmas this year.
Cher let it slip to her fans on Twitter that Lady Gaga is featuring on a track that is currently known as ‘The Greatest Thing’ – the name of the track is likely to change as Cher told all her followers that she is under strict orders from her record company not to reveal any song names before the album is released.

As well as dropping names (Cher also mentioned Pink as a collaborator) the singer gave her fans a glimpse into her world by showing them what she wears when she’s in the studio working on new music.

Cher claims that the above are simply her “work pjs” and that she doesn’t sleep in them. Eh…good to know?
Anyway ladies, what do you think of the Cher and Gaga partnership? Dance track of the year or a disaster waiting to happen?
