A solo track by One Direction's Harry Styles has been leaked online.

The singer has recorded Don't Let Me Go on his own, but it's not clear as to whether the track is for a solo project or a demo recorded by the boyband, Digital Spy reports.

The five boys (Harry, Niall, Liam, Zayn and Louis) set up individual publishing deals earlier this month to capitalise on their songwriting credits.

"This is a real statement of intent from the band," a source previously revealed.

"They have absolutely no intention of being spoon-fed pop puppets. They want to write and they want to earn as individuals."
