If you've been watching Strictly with a fierce urge to channel your inner Charleston, you're in luck!
The Workman's Club has announced that it is bringing back its popular monthly Vintage Dress Dance Revival, turning the main venue into an old-school Ballroom Of Romance.
The event will kick off on Friday February 13th with music from DJ Beep Beep and attendees encouraged to hit the floor and show off their finest mambo, swing dancing, foxtrot, cha-cha or boogie woogie!
And they don't call it the ballroom of romance for nothing, as the Revival aims to call to mind the dances where your grandparents might have met. In the days before Facebook, Twitter and Whatsapp , you’d approach your intended and ask them to dance so why not give it a go for one night a month?
It obviously works too as one couple who met at the very first Vintage Dress Dance in 2011 are now married!
If you need a little Dutch courage before you make your move, there will be a host of vintage cocktails on hand including Tom Collins', Cosmopolitans and Whiskey Sours and there's also be someone on hand to offer ladies the perfect red lip to complete their retro look.
The Vintage Dress Dance Revival takes place from midnight at The Workman's Club on Friday February 13th and admission is €5.
