Kylie Minogue certainly doesn’t look like she plans to slow down any time soon as it is revealed she has signed to Jay-Z’s record label Roc Nation.
The pint-sized Aussie star, famous for all things pop and of course those hot pants, posted a picture on her Twitter account to announce the news. She wrote: “Kisses from my new home rocnation #KM2013ROC [sic].”
Kylie has just signed to Jay-Z's record label Roc Nation.
It seems that the former Neighbours favourite isn’t the only one that’s excited about the move either.
A statement released on Jay-Z’s website Life + Times read: “Roc Nation would like to welcome Aussie singer, recording artist, songwriter, actress and designer Kylie Minogue to the family.”
The rapper also has Rihanna and Timbaland on his books.
And while she might be older than some of the other artists on the label (Rihanna, Rita Ora, Shakira), Kylie has 25 years experience and a pert bum behind her.
“She has released over 50 hit singles worldwide, including the Grammy-winning Come Into My World, and has sold more than 68 million albums worldwide,” the statement continued.
So it might not be the most obvious home for the Spinning Around songstress but we have to admit we are eager to see what sort of stuff she releases and besides the closer Kylie and Beyoncé are the more likely the chance of a duet!
