Beyoncé performed a disappearing act towards the latter stages of her pregnancy and seemed to be retiring away from the spotlight. Many believed the pop star would probably begin to take a back seat to her rapper husband, however as soon as Baby Blue was old enough Bey was back with a bang. Not just any of sort of bang, she exploded everywhere. Here are nine reasons why Beyoncé might need to have a lie down.

1. She’s Everywhere

If you turn on the TV, there she is. Read a newspaper, she will be staring back at you. Even if you walk down the street, you will inevitably see a billboard with her on it. A more paranoid person would be forgiven for believing she is stalking us.

2. She can’t stop dancing

A bit like that priest from Father Ted, Beyoncé seems to be suffering from some sort of disease which leads her to constantly dance everywhere, all the time.

 

3. She is no longer elusive

There was a time when we just accepted that we knew very little about Bey’s private life and that suited us just fine. Beyoncé had a fresh approach to her career, her music was her day job, her private life was her own. Now she’s just like any other pop star.

4. We’re not in this together anymore

Yes, she was one in a million, but she inspired us to be whatever we wanted to be, respect ourselves and be an independent women. “Men have been given the chance to rule the world but ladies, our revolution has begun. Let’s build a nation. Women everywhere. Run the world.” But now, Bey is not with us anymore. “I took some time to live my life, but don’t think I’m just his little wife. Don’t get it twisted, this is my shit. Bow down bitches.”

5. Online Presence

Part of the beauty of the Beyoncé brand was her lack of updates and the constant questioning about what would be her next project. Not so anymore. Whether it’s down to Bey herself or the team behind her, her online campaign has really made a turnaround. Check out beyonce.com for further proof.
