The Good 4 U singer is teaming up with the President to outline the importance of vaccination.
Olivia Rodrigo has
been recruited for a campaign to encourage young Americans to get vaccinated against Covid-19.
The Driver's Licence singer will soon meet with President Joe Biden and Dr Anthony Fauci to record a series of videos to outline the "importance of young people getting vaccinated".
A White House official has said that the 18 year-old pop star will answer "important questions young people have about getting vaccinated".
The campaign comes as concerns surrounding the
Delta variant grow. Additionally, the Centre for Disease Control has said that the vaccination rates for younger people in the US are lower than they are for older adults.
Yesterday, the official Instagram account for the President of the United States posted a picture of a young Joe Biden.

The caption read: "I know this young person would've gotten vaccinated, but we've got to get other young people protected as well. Who's willing to help?"
Olivia responded in the comments section and wrote, "i'm in! see you tomorrow at the white house!"
The singer than shared the post with her 14.4 million followers on her own Instagram story.
