Hit boy band One Direction are the first act to be confirmed for Band Aid 30, the famous music charity fundraiser that is organized by Sir Bob Geldof.
The boys will feature on the charity single this year in order to raise money for the Ebola crisis.
“Sir Bob has gone all out to get the biggest names in pop for the fourth release of ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas?” a source told The Sun. “Harry, Louis, Zayn, Liam and Niall were among the first stars on the organisers’ list and they jumped at the chance to get involved.”
Reports have also stated that Florence Welch, Ben Howard and Adele have also been approached to take part in the recording.
The song is due to be recorded this month and aims to reach the number one spot on Christmas week. It will be the fourth time that this song will be released to raise money for charity.
