Irish singer Ryan Dolan has released the music video for his new single Start Again.
But it’s not your ordinary pop music video. It addresses a very serious issue which affects the lives of many, showing what life can be like for a gay teenager.
Ryan himself came out only a matter of weeks ago. He told The Independent: “In school I was confused about who I was, and it was really hard for me growing up because of that.
“It was hard to deal with because I knew that I was gay, but I couldn’t get the courage to talk to someone about it.”
He added: “I think my youth was wasted worrying all the time about it. If I had been more open back then I would have been happier.”
Start Again is due for release on March 7th but you can check out the video below.
