Hats off to him! Popular singer Sam Smith has made history this week as his theme song for the new Bond movie has gone straight to the top of the charts. The song, Writing’s On The Wall, features in the new film Spectre and has become the first ever number one James Bond theme song. It is the first Bond theme song to reach Number One. “It was such an honour to be asked to write and record Writing’s On The Wall,” he told OfficialCharts.com. “It’s incredible that it’s become the first number one Bond theme song… this is a special moment I’ll never forget.”
