Rock band Snow Patrol has revealed that they will be releasing a new studio album in 2015 and not this year.
Speaking to Gigwise, lead singer Gary Lightbody said that the group plan to bring out their seventh studio LP next year as a follow-up to Fallen Empires which was released in 2011.
The frontman said that he was “gutted” that their upcoming album wouldn’t be released to mark their 20th anniversary – the band have been together since 1994.
No further details about the new album have been announced.
