Ed Sheeran was the world's most streamed artist in 2014, according to new figures from music service Spotify.
The Thinking Out Loud star was crowned the most streamed artist of 2014, with the UK singer-songwriter being listened to more than 860 million times across the globe this year on Spotify.
Ed also holds the title for the most streamed album for X, which was listened to 430 million times by fans.
Wicklow's Hozier spent 47 weeks on Spotify’s Viral charts and Take Me To Church took the title for the most viral track.
Katy Perry was named most streamed female, taking over from Rihanna, who held the title consecutively for the previous two years. Dark Horse spent 11 weeks at #1 on Spotify’s US Top 50 chart, the longest run at the top of the chart in 2014.
Pharrell Williams' Happy was the most streamed track in the world in 2014 on Spotify, with over 260 million plays.
