For the last year, we've been bringing you some of the best Irish and international acts through our Sunday Sessions.
Now, we want to put you at the heart of the action with our first ever live gig taking place at Whelan's next Thursday July 9th.
The brilliant line-up on the night includes The Academic, Little Hours and David Keenan and you can register for free tickets here.
In the run-up to the event, we'll be putting a spotlight on each act and first up is... Little Hours.
Name:Little HoursMembers: John Doherty and Ryan McCloskey
Formed: 2014
Hometown: Donegal
When you think about Irish breakthrough acts in the last 12 months, Donegal duo Little Hours are right on top of the list.
The two guys have shown they have an incredible ear for a melody and a tune, and the resulting songs have seen them become one of the most must-see bands in the country.
The band's trajectory since they released their debut single It's Still Love last July has been nothing short of remarkable.
After the band performed its first ever gig at Electric Picnic, the song took over the airwaves in Ireland and led to them getting nominated for Irish Song Of The Year at the Meteor Choice Awards.
They've also had some smashing support slots with the likes of Kodaline, James Bay, Amber Run, The Coronas and Gavin James.
It's Still Love is from the band's debut EP of the same name and while that's gained them the most attention, all four tracks on there are absolute crackers (Find here).
The quality of that EP and their undoubted potential didn't go unnoticed and Little Hours signed with Sony Music in April.
2015 has already been a super busy year for John and Ryan who are writing and recording new material at the moment, with a debut album possibly coming out before the end of the year.
You can see Little Hours at our first ever Sunday Sessions Live event along with The Academic and David Keenan at Whelan's on July 9. Apply for free tickets here.
