2015 is finally upon us and looking back on the millennium, remembering the Y2K scare and the 'noughties', we simply didn't know whether we'd ever make it this far. Just for old time sake we decided to reminisce and seek out what we sang the January blues away with over the years. The results, well, some of these are pretty embarrassing. Here are the New Year number one hits for the last 15 years. Linkin Park and Jay Z's duet held the top position for the entire month of January. The X Factor contestant who became BFFs with Michael Bublé on the, only to be sadly never heard of again. We're not going to lie, although there's no denying these girls can sing, we much prefer the original.   2013 - Impossible http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lh2oWbaRvQg James Arthur made X Factor history with this track, the most successful debut single in the show's history.   2014 - Skyscraper  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kh2cMMFanB8 Last Year Sam Bailey stole the no.1 slot with her winning X Factor track.   2015 - Uptown Funk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPf0YbXqDm0 We've welcomed in the New Year with Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars, as Uptown Funk remains at the top of the charts for the beginning 2015. We can't ever see ourselves being ashamed of this one.
