We’ve been singing the praises of Vance Joy for quite sometime and so we were only too delighted to meet the much-loved Melbourne music maker earlier in the week.
Vance Joy, whose real name is James Keogh (yes, he has Irish blood in him), played his first headline gig in Ireland at Dublin’s Academy on Monday night, a show which sold-out in minutes and we can honestly say was one of the best live performances we've witnessed in quite sometime.
Hailed by Billboard as one of the ‘Top 10 Artists Making Global Noise’, Vance released his eagerly awaited debut album, '
Dream Your Life Away', just two weeks ago.
The 26-year-old has already enjoyed Top 10 success across Ireland and Europe with debut EP,
‘God Loves You When You’re Dancing’ and his phenomenal hit track
‘Riptide’ has been on Irish airplay for just over a year.

With a five-album Atlantic Record deal under his belt, we will be seeing and hearing a lot more of Vance Joy and we certainly are not complaining…
