The band that produced the soundtrack of the 1990s with songs such as Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom! and We’re Going to Ibiza to name but a few are back and crazier than ever before.
Yes, you heard it right, the Venga Boys are back and have released a new single just on time for Christmas aptly entitled Where Did my Xmas Tree Go?
With really random lyrics that include, “Woke up this morning all me friends were gone, because they didn’t get to eat,” the song has a typical extremely catchy chorus that requires no effort at all to remember.
“It was a blast to be back in the studio!” said Robin Pors from the band. “We’re very happy with our first Christmas song ever that, and the added advantage of not having to fight over lines with other artists,” she finished, referencing their decision not to take part in Live Aid 30.
We bet this is bound to be one of the hits of the nightclubs this Christmas - for novelty and nostalgia factors alone if nothing else!
