There’s nothing better than a bit of Irish trad music and couple this with some well-thought out rap and a catchy tune this song has all the ingredients of a hit.
A group of local musicians in Campbell’s Tavern in Cloughanover, Headford in Galway gathered together to creat the song, No Privatisation, Irish Water for Irish People and regardless how you feel about the Irish Water charges, this song is pure genius.
By mixing trad with rap, the message is delivered in emphatic fashion and comes at a time when the protest against the charges seems to be stepping up a gear, with another planned march on the Dáil scheduled for next Wednesday.
We bet you will be singing this chorus in no time!
