Unsigned Irish band MKAI are sitting pretty in the top five of the iTunes album chart this week, after overtaking Taylor Swift with sales of their debut EP.
The two brothers from Cork released Waiting on November 8th and the record peaked at number three in the charts this week, currently sitting at number four behind One Direction, Foo Fighters and 5 Seconds Of Summer.
After a remarkably successful crowdsourcing campaign, MKAI aka Cian and Conor MacSweeny recorded the EP with Rob Kirwan (Hozier, Bell X1, U2, Depeche Mode) at the helm.
