The home of one Maine resident has become one of the hottest venues in the US, with leading musicians and rappers flocking to the property to perform over the past year.
According to the Huffington Post, rapper Spose and rock band Rustic Overtones are just two of the performers that have played live shows at Nick Stanley's home in Farmington. Stanley has adult-onset spinal muscular atrophy, which has left him confined to his bed for the last two years and unable to walk, eat or breathe on his own.
To show their support, musicians have been singing and playing their instruments at the 35-year-old's bedside for over a year and Stanley said that the shows have given him something to look forward to each day.
“It really keeps me going. When you lay in one spot all day, everything is the same...but the music is always changing.”
