His train might not stop in some places anymore but Elton John will be coming to Ireland next summer.

It has been announced that the music legend is bringing his Greatest Hits show back to Cork’s Live at the Marquee in June next year.

Rock band ZZ Top will also be performing at the end of June 2013.

And he’s not the only star headed for the Rebel County as Christy Moore, ZZ Top and Elvis Costello are also on the bill.

But you’ll have to be quick if you want to secure your place in the audience.

Tickets for Elton (June 23rd), ZZ Top (June 27th) and Moore (July 6th) go on sale this Friday at 9.00am while tickets for Costello (June 26th) will be available from Monday.

Christy Moore is also due to sing on July 6th.
