Wyvern Lingo have announced that they have signed a record deal with Rubyworks.
The Bray trio of Karen Cowley, Saoirse Duane and Caoimhe Barry have enjoyed great success in the past twelve months, with headline performances at Smock Alley Theatre and The Sugar Club, as well as the release of their EP The Widow Knows.
Both Barry and Cowley previously featured as backing singers for Hozier, with the latter's haunting vocal appearing on album track In A Week.
The band will now join the Grammy nominee on the Rubyworks label and have announced a string of appearances this summer, including a headline gig at Whelan's on June 5th.
Wyvern Lingo will also appear at the Hype Festival in Longford on May 16th, Sea Sessions in Bundoran on from June 19th to 21st, Groove Festival in Kilruddery House on July 5th, Longitude on July 17th, Indiependence in Mitchelstown from July 31st to August 2nd and Electric Picnic from September 4th to 6th.
