He came third in last year's X Factor but things don't seem to be going too well for Luke Friend, who has apparently been spotted auditioning for BBC's The Voice.
Friend was one of the most popular contestants on the ITV series last year but the singer was seen this week with his guitar at Manchester's Media City, where blind auditions for The Voice are currently taking place.
A spokesperson for the musician denied he was there to audition for judges Rita Ora, Ricky Wilson, Sir Tom Jones and will.i.am, explaining that he was simply in the area "to busk".
Friend also uploaded a photo to Twitter this afternoon, encouraging fans to come and enjoy his set.
