From the jungle to The X Factor, it seems that Laura Whitmore is a shoe-in when it comes to replacing Caroline Flack. Yes, the Bray beauty is tipped to replace Flack as host on The Xtra Factor. 2014, the year that can most certainly be referred to as ‘The Ultimate Shake Up’, will see Cheryl Cole and Simon Cowell rejoining the judging panel and if the rumours are true, it looks like the road has come to an end for both Flack and Matt Richardson. It won't be the first time Whitmore replaced 34-year-old Flack, back in 2011 on the ITV spin-off, I'm A Celebrity.. Get Me Out Of Here! NOW! According to the Daily Mirror, former X Factor contestant Rylan Clark is also linked to a role. The pair are believed to be in the midst of screen tests for the show at the moment. Following in Flack's footsteps. “It’s a pretty stressful time, because Laura and Rylan have been screen tested but obviously, that makes it look like Caroline and Matt could be for the chop,” a source told the newspaper. “The final decision isn’t made until the last minute – Olly Murs only found out he had the job just days before he started filming. So it’s quite tense, as it’s a big deal.” The end of the road for Matt and Caroline? The show’s producers have not yet commented on the reports however a production insider told the tabloid: “We’re looking at what this year’s series will look like but it is far too early to say what changes might be made. “Matt and Caroline are great presenters and could still return as we haven’t made any decisions yet.”
