Our love for reality TV knows absolutely no bounds.
And while it’s safe to say that Great British Bake Off will always – and we mean always – be one of our favourites, there was another baking-inspired show that snuck into our lives this year.
We’re talking about, of course, Nailed It!.
The concept of the Netflix series was quite simple:
“Home bakers with a terrible track record take a crack at re-creating edible masterpieces for a $10,000 prize.
“It’s part reality contest, part hot mess.”
The series is hosted by comedian Nicole Byer and chocolatier and master pastry chef, Jacques Torres.
Our only issue with the whole thing was that the first season was way too short.
The six-episode first season was released in March – and it felt like it absolutely flew by.
Thankfully, we won’t have to wait too much longer for more Nailed It!
A post on the show’s official Twitter account announced that the second season will be arriving on the streaming service in a few weeks, including “more Jaques”, “more disasters”, and “more frosting”.
