We’re big fans of John Mulaney.
His two Netflix specials are some of the funniest stand-up comedy performances we’ve ever seen and he is a really unique talent.
So unique that his latest special is a family-friendly affair featuring a number of children as well as a star-studded cast.
A bold move for a stand-up comedian to make, you’d have to admit.
John Mulaney & the Sack Lunch Bunch came to Netfilx on Christmas Eve and it’s a really fun watch.
The special stars Mulaney as himself, hanging out with a bunch of extremely smart and honest children. It’s filled with subtle jokes that adults will find hilarious but that are (just about) clean and innocent enough that the whole family can tune in and enjoy it.
As much as it is a PG offering, we reckon that anyone of any age will enjoy the humour.
Among the many guest stars, we reckon that Jake Gyllenhaal (who has had quite the 2019) steals the show. An incredible cameo that you really will have to see to believe.
If you’re staying in tonight, it could be the perfect watch for you.
