Your next Netflix binge-watch is sorted.
While we're extremely reluctant to base our entire philosophy around the teachings of a TV show, it's telling that Mindhunter constantly refers to one macabre pattern of behaviour; anyone that hurts, maims, or kills an animal is likely to harbour homicidic tendencies.
Well, in Netflix's new three-part true crime series, Don't F**k With Cats: Hunting an Internet Killer, this deduction proves to be accurate.
The documentary starts with a mysterious person posting a horrific video of him asphyxiating two cats with vacuum-sealed bags and a vacuum cleaner. The cruel act brings together a team of online amateur sleuths, who are determined to bring this cat killer to justice.
The killer in question is Canadian man Luka Magnotta.

After torturing and murdering these animals, Magnotta then murdered and dismembered a Chinese student named Jun Lin, who he met on a gay Internet dating site.
He then proceeds to mail the body parts to different institutes, as an attention-seeking stunt.
Encouraged by the attention he's receiving, the killer continues posting ever more disturbing videos, eventually crossing into murder.
From the producers of The Imposter and Silk Road, Don't F**k With Cats: Hunting an Internet Killer is now available on Netflix.
