If there are two things we love, it’s cheesy films and royal romances, and this latest news combines both along with some of our favourite stars for good measure. You’ll remember we were obsessed with Netflix’s first original Christmas movie, A Christmas Prince, which was released at the end of last year, well it was announced last month that the movie would be getting a sequel and we were unsurprisingly very excited. Well, this news might just top that as Netflix are making another Christmas royal romance movie that’s starring none other than Vanessa Hudgens. Yes, The Christmas Switch is currently in production and tells the story of a Duchess and a commoner who swap places after they realise they look scarily alike. Obviously, both roles are played by V Hudgens and somewhere in the mix is a Prince who one of them falls in love with. Nashville star Sam Palladio will play the role of Prince Whatever and thanks to Vanessa’s most recent post on Instagram, we can already get excited about seeing the duo in action. However, we still have a while to wait as the movie is not set to be released until the end of this year.
