7 amazing Netflix shows to binge on this Bank Holiday weekend

Browsing through Netflix can be an intimidating task. Overwhelmed with options, finding something to watch can often take the two hours you’d planned on using to actually watch it.

And it’s even worse when it comes to TV shows.

With so many to choose from, picking a show to invest in is a big commitment.

Well, we’re here to help.

Asides from the obvious release of Stranger Things 2 on Friday, there are plenty of other shows that are really worth the investment.

Here are seven shows on Netflix we think are worth your time.

 

1. Jessica Jones

Plot: Haunted by a traumatic past, Jessica Jones uses her gifts as a private eye to find her tormentor before he can harm anyone else in Hell’s Kitchen.

 

2. Grace and Frankie

Plot: They’re not friends, but when their husbands leave them for each other, proper Grace and eccentric Frankie begin to bond in this Emmy-nominated series.

 

3. Sense 8

Plot: From the creators of The Matrix and Babylon 5 comes this tense series in which eight people can telepathically experience each other’s lives.

 

4. Gypsy

Plot: Therapist Jean Holloway develops dangerous and intimate relationships with the people in her patients’ lives in this simmering psychological thriller.

 

5. Friends From College

Plot: Twenty years after graduation, a tight-knit group of college friends reconnects and discovers that love hasn’t gotten easier with age.

 

6. Cable Girls

Plot: In 1920s Madrid, four women at the National Telephone Company ring in the revolution as they manage romance, friendship and the modern workplace.

 

7. LOVE

Plot: Rebellious Mickey and good-natured Gus navigate the thrills and agonies of modern relationships in this bold comedy co-created by Judd Apatow.
