We can’t wait for this.

Breaking Bad was one of those TV shows that was adored by fans all over the world. It’s hard to believe that it ended in 2013, a whole five years ago.

A couple of months ago, it was reported that Vince Gilligan is creating a two-hour movie that will be a new chapter of the story, and will be called Greenbrier.

And now, it looks like it’s coming to Netflix.

According to Deadline: “For Netflix and AMC to share the Breaking Bad followup is fitting as the two outlets share the credit for the success of the original series,” the report reads.

“Gilligan acknowledged the streamer’s contribution in his acceptance speech for the series’ first best drama series Emmy win in 2013.”

The report also states that the script is being shot as a feature-length movie, although this is yet to be confirmed.

When news of the movie first came out, Bryan Cranston addressed it and said he didn’t receive the script for it.

Speaking on The Dan Patrick Show, Bryan said: “Yes, there appears to be a movie version of Breaking Bad. But I, honestly have not even read the script. So I couldn’t tell you.”

“I have not gotten the script. I had not read the script, so there’s a question of whether we’d even see Walter White in this movie! Think about that one.”
However, it seems like he’s 100 percent up for it!

He continued: “I would, absolutely. It’s Vince Gilligan. If Vince Gilligan asked me to do it, sure, absolutely. He’s a genius. It’s a great story, and there’s a lot of people who felt that they wanted to see some sort of completion to some of these storylines that were left open.

“This idea, from what I was told, gets into at least a couple of the characters who were not completed as far as their journey.”
