Nicole Scherzinger explains why she returned to the X Factor

Nicole Scherzinger made quite the impression during her time as an X Factor judge and many fans were delighted to hear that she was returning for a second stint. In a recent interview with The Mirror, Nicole explained what prompted her decision to return to the reality TV show and the reason is actually very sweet. It was all to do with our very own Mayo man, Louis Walsh. Chatting to the publication, the former frontwoman of the Pussycat Doll revealed that the deciding factor was the fact that Louis was also returning. Nicole said:

"I would never have done it without Louis. And Louis said he wasn't doing it without me". "I would never have done it without Louis. And Louis said he wasn't doing it without me".

She then went on to explain how great it is to be back on set with the other judges, all of whom she has worked with before. Describing the foursome as "the original gangster panel", the 38-year-old said:

"I'm having so much fun, and loving being back with the OGs of X Factor – we are the original gangster panel. "Mrs O is the most gangster, and then me and then Simon and then Louis".

Something tells me the X Factor will see a return to form this year. Roll on August!
