No pressure, lads! Here’s what The Weeknd did for Selena’s birthday

This weekend Selena Gomez turned 25 years young. Yes, our favourite Insta-star hit the quarter century and shared pictures with fans on her social media to mark the occasion.

However, there was one person who didn’t make the celebrations – her boyfriend, Abel Tesfaye.

Known to us as The Weeknd, the singer was busy performing in Paris that night so couldn’t make his girlfriend’s low-key party.

But that wasn’t about to stop him. The singer left the stage in Paris and went straight to the airport where he hopped on a plane to LAX to see Selena.

Reunited at last, the pair were spotted out enjoying lunch and iced coffees in LA on Sunday.

So, let’s break that down – Abel, after completing a two-hour set, took a 12-hour flight to have a one-hour lunch with his girlfriend.

Time to step it up, lads.
