The nominations for the 2019 BAFTA awards have been announced

The nominations for the 2019 BAFTAs have been announced – with the Irish-produced film, The Favourite, leading the way with 12 nods.

The dark comedy, which was produced by Element Pictures, has been nominated for best film. Olivia Colman got the nod in the leading actress category days after she won a Golden Globe, while Rachel Weisz and Emma Stone were both nominated in the best actress category.

A Star Is Born, First Man, Roma and Bohemian Rhapsody have all gotten seven nominations. Vice received six, while BlacKkKlansman was nominated five times.
