Name a more iconic duo… we’ll wait.

When it comes to celebrity couples, Michelle and Barack Obama have to up there with our favourites. Yes, the former President and his First Lady are often seen to be sharing sentimental pictures with each other on social media and we are totally OK with that. This week it was the turn of their 25^th wedding anniversary that got them sharing the love online. Over the years, we’ve been given a front row seat to the pair’s close bond, however, Michelle took it right back to where it began to mark the special occasion.

“Happy 25^th anniversary, Barack,” Michelle captioned a picture of the pair on their wedding day. “A quarter of a century later, you’re still my best friend and the most extraordinary man I know. “I love you.”

However, while Michelle’s picture was sweet, Barack went the extra mile to mark the important date. With Michelle was busy giving a talk alongside Grey’s Anatomy creator, Shonda Rhimes, at the Pennsylvania Conference for Women in Philadelphia, Barack thought he would interrupt for just a moment and appeared on the big screen with a loving message for his wife of 25 years. After apologising for “crashing” the conference, Barack went on to share just a few of things he loves about Michelle. We’re not crying, you’re crying.
