Oceans Eleven to Be Remade With an All-Female Cast

Boom.

Oceans 11 is getting a reboot in the form of an all-female cast.

Sandra Bullock is reportedly in talks to assume the leading role which was played by Frank Sinatra in the 1960 version and George Clooney in the 2001 remake.

The Hunger Games director Gary Ross is favourite to direct with Olivia Milch is working on the screenplay. The female adaption of the series is expected to commence once Ross wraps up on The Free State of Jones.

Assuming a role intended for Clooney is nothing new for Bullock. The two worked on Our Brand is Crisis together, with Bullock filling the role originally intended for Clooney while he assumed the role of producer. The duo also co-stared in the 2013 epic Gravity.

Talking about Bullocks insistence on starring in Our Brand is Crisis, Clooney said it was “languishing in development” until Bullock called him to say she wanted the part, adding

“The minute she called and said she wanted to play the role that had been written as a man, the movie went into production.”

she sounds like our kinda gal.
