One of the best cocktail bars is opening a Taproom, and here’s all the deets

This sounds deadly

This is going to be a delight for our tastebuds.

We’re all for tasting new flavours and trying exciting drinks, so if you’ve been to Drop Dead Twice on Francis Street, you’ll know that it’s one of the coolest cocktail experiences in town.

Allowing you to bring in your own booze, the bar’s mixologists ask for your flavour preferences and then whip up some of the most delightful cocktails you have ever tasted.

Our gal, Jade, tried it out for herself, and after her report back, we were all drooling to go.

However, it’s about to get even better, and if you’re a beer fan, then you’ll be delighted to know it’s adding a Taproom to it’s deadly abode.

We reached out to Drop Dead Twice and got all the juicy details… and now that it has cocktails, wine and beer on offer, we don’t think we’re going to venture much further on our next night out.

Speaking to Her, a rep for the bar said: “At Drop Dead Twice we have always had a passion for the quirky, the unique and the extraordinary.

“While cocktails have been our first true love we also have another; beer! That is why during October – the month of our first anniversary – we will be opening ‘The Taproom’.

“Here, guests can enjoy the same relaxed, unpretentious vibe of Drop Dead Twice while sampling beers from all over Ireland and the world.

“Our friendly, knowledgeable staff will always be willing to talk you through your next drink, be it a craft from Iceland, a weiss from Germany or a straight up pint of porter from Dublin.

“For those who aren’t beer fans, fear not, there will be something for everyone, including wines and spirits that are off the beaten track and a cocktail menu featuring some of Drop Dead Twice’s house favourites.”

Sounds great, right?

The new Taproom will open it’s doors next month, so be sure to check out Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for more details.
