One of the popular stars on Made in Chelsea has quit

He has other priorities now.

Josh 'JP' Paterson has revealed that he has quit Made in Chelsea. The reality star has been on the show since 2015. He met girlfriend Binky Felstead through the show and the couple welcomed their first baby, India, last year. Binky is one of the original cast members of the show and began dating JP in 2015 as part of the show. While the pair have been noticeably absent from the most recent series, until now it wasn't confirmed if they had ruled out a return for good. JP spoke to The Sun, where he said that he is grateful for where the show has got him but that it's time to move on.

"I think we'll be eternally grateful for it but I think it like anything in life as you grow older you start to look for new opportunities. When you've got young kids coming into the mix and it's not about partying and who fancies who.”

He added:

"I think it's a natural thing, we're parents now I think the biggest priority in our life is our daughter. As much as we love that show, I think you've got to make a choice. I think you make a choice if you want to be a reality show or be a parent. We keep in contact with them consistently."

While he's ruled out a permanent return, he said he'll still be up for a cameo or brief appearance in the future.
