The things parents will do for their kids.
The beautiful former Saturdays singer, Rochelle Humes took to Instagram on Wednesday and shared some information that got lots of fans and users talking.
The 28-year-old who has two daughters, Alaia-Mai (4) and Valentina Raine (6 months), with former JLS star Marvin Humes talked about her baby being sick and feeling down with such a bad cold.
Then came the information that some fans felt was too much. Rochelle said,
“Just put Valentina to bed, she’s not been very well actually the past couple of days, she’s teething, and got a cold and everything. So bunged up that last night, wait for it… I sucked the snot out of her nose. Yeah.”
“The joke of it is she actually looked at me like, ‘Mum what on earth are you doing to me? Get off me, this is disgusting.’”
A natural reaction for baby to have you might say.
Rochelle went on to muse, “I’ve just tasted snot for the first time in my life.”
Ah here, that probably wasn’t the first time Rochelle.
While some fans found the whole scenario rather hilarious while some were incredibly grossed-out.
Many began offering Rochelle advice on how great nasal sprays are for this kind of thing, after having used them with their own little ones, as well as recommending she use the likes of Calpol and Vicks for colds.
Well, we suppose the moral of the story might be that all parents do things a little differently! Whatever works, right?
