People are raging over this news about the live-action Mulan movie

The director of the upcoming live-action remake of Disney favourite Mulan has broken fan hearts by confirming that none of the songs from the original will feature.

The animated version of the film featured plenty of music, with our personal highlight being Donny Osmond's rousing rendition of I'll Make A Man Out Of You. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSS5dEeMX64 Director Niki Caro, speaking in an interview with MovieFone, broke the bad news:

"It will be extremely muscular and thrilling and entertaining and moving. From what I understand, no songs right now, much to the horror of my children."
