PSA: You can now buy The Sims 4 Deluxe for less than €13

Bored? Of course you are.

Over the past week, you’ve probably completed Netflix, read every book in your gaff, and gone on every nature walk possible.

We’re only eight days into social distancing and self isolation, and already the cabin fever has started to set in.

After all, there are only so many days that we can sit inside without going absolutely mental.

If only there was a downloadable game that would provide hours of entertainment. If only such a game would allow us to pretend as if we are outside, hanging with friends, setting fires, and making babies.

If only such a game was the epitome of our childhoods, but better, cleaner, and without the glitch that meant if you used a cheat to earn more money you’d get stuck in a loop of birthing children and immediately being unable to find them.

If only such a game was currently available to download for less than €13.00.

And lucky for us, it is. It actually is. What a time to be alive.

The Sims 4 (Deluxe edition, don’t you know) is at the minute for sale on the EA Games site, meaning that you can avail of days, weeks, and months worth of fun all for the low price of €12.49.

Honestly, what a day.

The fourth instalment of the iconic – and highly addictive – game came out a few years back, but if there was ever a time that we needed it more, it was now.

We can’t go shopping but The Sims can. We can’t go for dinner but The Sims can. We can’t hug our friends, kiss our loved ones, and open doors without using our elbows but The Sims can.

They are living the lives that we used to live – and finally, we’ll get a taste of what it means to exist again.

The Sims 4 Deluxe is currently retailing at €12.49 until tomorrow, March 23, so if you were hoping to download the game and get a seriously good deal, now is your chance.

What else would you be doing, sure?

You can download The Sims 4 here.
