The reason Kate Middleton WON’T be appearing in the Queen’s documentary

Where K Middy at?

Meghan Markle made headlines yesterday (surprise, surprise) when footage of her seeing her wedding dress for the first time was shared online.

Yes, the sweet clip was included in the trailer for the upcoming documentary Queen of the World which will take a look at Queen Elizabeth’s achievements during her record-breaking reign.

And while some may have been distracted by the Duchess’ sweet moment, others were quick to notice the absence of Kate.

Yes, OG Duchess Kate didn’t make an appearance in the teaser video and that’s because she’s not really in the documentary at all.

But why the TV snub?

Well, apparently it was for a very good (and practical) reason.

“Kate was largely out of action during the main filming,” an insider told People.

“The Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting was a focal point and she was due to give birth [to Prince Louis] any minute.”

Yes, Kate was absent from many events due to her being in the later stages of her pregnancy with Prince Louis.

But we will get a glimpse of Kate during the documentary but she isn’t speaking directly to camera or filmed in conversation as William, Harry and Meghan are.

The documentary will air on ITV1 in two parts – the first will premiere on September 25.
