Baby Reindeer creator, Richard Gadd, is set to return to Netflix with a brand new show.
This comes following the success of Baby Reindeer when it was released in 2024, documenting his terrifying experience with a stalker and sexual abuse.
Gadd took home three Emmys for the docuseries, leading Netflix to offer him a multi-year deal.
Netflix boss Ted Sarandos confirmed the news and described it as a ‘first-look’ deal.
"We finished our first look deal with Richard Gadd – he's a brilliant storyteller and told a brilliant story,” Sarandos said at The Royal Television Society convention.
"I'm very proud of Richard and very proud of the story that he told – Baby Reindeer is his story, and he told his story."
"I’m beyond thrilled to be continuing my creative journey with Netflix,” Gadd said in a statement to Deadline.
"They took a chance on me when I wasn’t proven in the television space, [so] for that I will always be grateful. I look forward to the years ahead with Netflix ideas with Ted, Bela [Bajaria], Anne [Mensah], Peter [Friedlander] and all the amazing staff who work at the company."
The news comes ahead of Gadd’s latest series, called Lions, which was announced earlier this year following Baby Reindeer’s release.
Lions is set to air on the BBC, with an exact date yet to be announced.
