Talk about a career change!

The Irish version of Dancing With The Stars has just revealed its final lineup, and some of the contestants may surprise you.

The most surprising contestant has to be rugby legend, Peter Stringer.

Famous for his ability on the rugby pitch, String admitted that this new role will have him out of his comfort zone.

“I’ve never danced on a dance floor before so going from that to dancing in front of a live audience will be a whole new experience for me. I’m nervous but up for the challenge!” he said.

Fair play to him! We have no doubt the lads in green will all be supporting him.

The Young Offenders star Demi Isaac Oviawe was also announced as a DWTS contestant!

She said: “I’m so excited to be involved in this year’s show. I can’t wait to get started and learn a new skill.”

“I’m hoping that I can be a role model for young black women in Ireland and maybe some might even follow in my dance steps!”

Cliona O’Hagan will also be taking to the stage, swapping country music for ballroom dancing!

“I’m nervous, and a little apprehensive, but overall I’m feeling great and can’t wait to see how far I can push myself,” she said.

The first show of the next season, which is hosted by Nicky Byrne, will air on RTE One on Sunday, January 6.
