Caroline Flack has revealed that the room auditions will not be a part of this year’s X Factor.
The presenter was chatting about the format change, which will see aspiring singers performing in front of a live audience from the get-go, whilst promoting her other new show Love Island.
The room auditions are being replaced by arena auditions.
She told Digital Spy: “I think the arenas create loads of excitement.
“For me, when I was there, when you walk into the arena you feel that excitement. It’s so good! It’s such a good feeling.”
Caroline and Olly are taking over as presenters.
Caroline and Olly Murs are replacing Dermot O’Leary to present this year’s series. As you may well know, they used to host spin-off Xtra Factor.
