As most of us know by now there will be a new dance show coming to RTÉ.
We're getting an Irish version of
Dancing with the Stars, which has been brought in by RTÉ to replace
The Voice. The format will see different stars dancing each week and facing elimination, quite like
Strictly Come Dancing.
But who will be competing? No word yet on which celebrities will be taking part but the bookies have already set their odds on some favourites and it's a good guess at who might be taking part as well as the presenters.
In terms of the presenters, it looks like Vogue Williams is the favourite alongside Nicky Byrne.
For the dancers then, 2FM DJ Eoghan McDermott heads the favourites to take to the floor, followed by George Hook and Roz Purcell.
Olympic athletes may be swapping their medals for dancing shoes as Annalise Murphy and the O'Donovan brothers are tipped for a place on the show.
Also rumoured are Jennifer Maguire and Amanda Byram, while some of the rumoured judges are Riverdance star Jean Butler and ballerina Monica Loughman.
Hayley O'Connor of Ladbrokes said:
"We think Vogue has a great chance of grooving to the music on Dancing With the Stars. A jiving Jennifer Maguire would be brilliant, although early mornings might stop her spending nights on the tiles, but the biggest attraction would be if RTE beat the odds and get Michael 'Feet of Flames' Flatley in the chair."
