Ryan Thomas’ daughter shares message of support after Roxanne quits CBB

"He's handled himself with dignity."

After a difficult few days in the Celebrity Big Brother house, Ryan Thomas’ family are making sure to show their support on the outside. CBB housemate Roxanne accused Ryan of punching her in the ribs last week and has since quit the show. However, last night, Ryan broke down on the show as he worried about the impact the accusations would have. Well, very little on his family as his daughter shared a video message with her dad on Instagram saying:

“Hi daddy, I love you,” nine-year-old Scarlett said. “I miss you and I think you’re doing very well. “I’m so proud of you and I think you should win!”

Ryan's brother Scott shared the footage on his Instagram story before speaking on the issue as he watched last night's episode. Sharing pictures of his brother visibly upset, Scott said: "How can someone do this to another person? It's actually killing me. "I am unbelievably proud to call him my big brother." Ryan’s family posted a statement on his social media pages after last night’s show also, speaking of how proud they were.

“No words to describe how proud we are as a family of Ryan. He has handled himself with the utmost respect and dignity in the worst possible situation. “We just hope he can get back to smiling now and being the amazing human being he is. “A phenomenal dad, brother, boyfriend and housemate.”

It was revealed that Roxanne had quit the show yesterday morning after dealing with some “sensitive issues that she felt strongly about”. More than 11,000 fans complained to Ofcom after the incident, calling for her to be removed from the show. During Friday night's eviction, fans could be chanting for her to leave.
