First Big Brother, now it’s The Xtra Factor.

Rylan Clark-Neal is fast becoming the king of reality TV as he’s just been announced as co-host of The Xtra Factor alongside Matt Edmondson.

Rylan confirmed the news on today’s This Morning, saying:

“I’m very honoured and over the moon that after four years, I’m going back to The X Factor.

“This has been going on for years, but the last couple of months there have been talks and chats”.

This Morning 25th Anniversary

The former X Factor contestant, who took part in the show during the 2012 series, reassured Big Brother fans that he would be keeping up his presenting role on Big Brother’s Bit On The Side.

The run-up to the big reveal was teased on the official X Factor Twitter account and afterwards, Rylan shared a video message, where he looks delighted with his new job.

Not only that, he’s soon to co-present This Morning with his fiancé Dan Neal, filmed a cameo in the new Absolutely Fabulous film and he’s gearing up to release his autobiography The Life Of Rylan.

Rylan and co-host Matt are taking over from Rochelle and Marvin Humes who previously fronted the show.

Speaking about the news earlier this week, Matt said:

“I am unbelievably excited about joining The Xtra Factor this year, not least of all because on my first day Louis Walsh walked into my dressing room topless, unannounced. I regard this as the definition of ‘living the dream'”.
