The ‘sensational’ new Netflix docuseries that everyone is binge-watching

You wouldn’t believe the amount of nudity in it.

Despite the vast array of content, most Netflix users find themselves looking for something new to watch most of the time and if you’re currently counting yourself in that category, then have we got the new series for you.

Recently added to the streaming service, a new documentary series titled Wild Wild Country is currently commanding a lot of attention from viewers and critics alike, with a coveted 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes amongst the coverage the series has received to date.

The Telegraph, for their part, have described it as “sensational”.

We should point out that, if you’re the prudish type, then Wild, Wild Country might not be for you.

The documentary explores a controversy that erupted in the United States in the 1980s, when a controversial cult leader by the name of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh set up a commune in the Oregon desert.

The commune, known as Rajneeshpuram, became the home for Rajneesh’s religious movement and a rather liberal attitude towards sex, but the presence of the commune and its inhabitants did not go down well with locals in the nearby town of Antelope.

The conflict between the commune’s residents and locals soon turned into a national scandal, resulting in the largest bioterrorism attack in US history (a number of local salad bars were contaminated with salmonella), the discovery of the largest wiretapping operation in the United States and conspiracy to assassinate a US attorney.

With all those ingredients, you can imagine that the six episodes of Season One are well worth a watch, it’s available on Netflix right now.
