You think Peaky Blinders would make headlines for how brilliant a series it is, but the show's fashion is also getting attention.
The BBC show is into its third series now and it's one of the best shows out there. But it seems it's not just Cillian Murphy's acting skills that are being complimented, he's started a new fashion trend all over again.
His character from the series, Tommy Shelby, would rarely be seen without a flat cap and now it seems a lot of the men viewers want to do the same. According to The Mirror, there has been an increase in sales of the flat cap by 83%.
Holly Clark, Men's Accessories Buyer from John Lewis, said, “This year we have seen the flat cap booming in popularity, undoubtedly thanks to the return of BBC2 ’s Peaky Blinders.
“Sales have continued to rocket as the series progresses, peaking at +83% compared to last year the week that the third episode aired.”
