Episode four is out now!

Sherif was kicked out of the Love Island villa for a “silly mistake,” according to a show insider.

The contestant was removed from the reality TV series earlier today following a mutual decision made between him and the producers.

Sherif said his leaving stemmed from “a case of poor judgement” and that he agreed that it was “best for me to leave the villa.”

ITV have yet to provide any information around what Sherif did, but a television insider has claimed that the contestant was removed because of a simple mistake and not a “criminal matter.”

“Sherif made a silly mistake and was immediately summoned to the Beach Hut – it wasn’t a criminal matter and he was spoken to and agreed to leave,” they told The Mirror.

“Sherif knew he had to leave immediately after being called to the Beach Hut. No security were involved.”

Following his departure, Sherif issued the following statement:

“In a case of poor judgement, I broke the villa rules and as a result agreed with the producers that it was best for me to leave the villa,” he said.

“I regret that I didn’t conduct myself in the right way and, as a 20 year old guy, it’s something I know I will take on board and learn from.

“I really enjoyed my time in the villa and look forward to catching up with everyone on the outside.”

Love Island producers also confirmed that he had been removed from the villa for breaking the rules, saying: “After breaking the villa rules Sherif had conversations with the producers and it was mutually agreed that he would leave the Love Island villa.”

The show continues tonight, but will the true reason behind Sherif’s departure be revealed?

Honestly, probably not.
