Simon Cowell comments on Ant McPartlin’s future with Britain’s Got Talent

Fans of the TV presenter will be delighted to hear this.

Declan Donnelly presented this year's series of Britains Got Talent alone but it looks like his longtime partner, Ant McPartlin will return next year. The final of the popular talent show took place last night and this was the perfect time for judge Simon Cowell to comment on the possibility of Ant returning to present the show in 2019. Simon said that he and the rest of the BGT team want Ant back and that he's "almost certain" of his return. Speaking to The Mirror, the music mogul said:

"I’m almost certain he’ll be back next year. And we want him back".

Simon also said that he intends to personally support Ant if and when he does return to TV presenting.

"Maybe the pressure was more than I realised. I will support Ant when he comes back. “He’s not a malicious person, he’s just got himself into a place. “But he has owned it and he’s going to deal with it. He’s taken a step back because his health is way more important than a TV show".

Ant is currently taking some time out of the spotlight following his conviction for drinking driving in April.
