There are another SIX Coronation Street stars considering quitting the show

Not good.

It has been a rocky few months for Coronation Street.

Earlier this week, the lovely Lucy Fallon became the seventh actor in three months to announce leaving the show.

In a statement, Lucy said:

“My decision to leave was made in August last year and has nothing to do with ANYONE at Coronation Street. I didn’t make it lightly and I am going to miss every single person there.”

And according to a source, there are a number of other stars also considering their future in Corrie.

Speaking to The Mirror, the source claimed: “I know of another half dozen actors who are considering their positions.”

“The bosses have had a series of meetings to discuss the situation, but don’t seem to have come up with any concrete plans.”

“They’ve got this old-school mindset of ”no one is bigger than Corrie’.”

It seems as though issues are arising because of long hours and a ban on endorsement deals.

So yeah, we don’t entirely blame the actors.

A source told The Irish Mirror that stars of the show have been asking Corrie bosses to lift the ban on other social media endorsement deals. Fair.

Previously, actors were able to supplement their income by working with brands, on social media or otherwise.

In fact, the source also revealed that Brooke Vincent got into a lot of trouble for posting things about Domino’s Pizza.
